Adrian Ursu
Born in Romania. Raised in Detroit. Living in Los Angeles.
Became a filmmaker after studying architecture and design. Somehow it made sense. So I worked on film sets for experience while learning how to edit starting with iMovie then FCP 1. Yes, version 1.
Then I read Robert Rodriguez’s book, “Rebel Without A Crew” and realized I could and should make something. Write it, shoot it, direct it, edit it. Found out how satisfying that process was and kept going.
Now, I’m here. Doing what I love for a living and consider myself very lucky.
At the core, I’m a storyteller who loves strong tone, mood, and cinematic visuals.
I’m also a father, husband, cinephile, audiophile, rock climber, and avid lover of the outdoors.
